I conducted SEO research based on a transactional intent and infused keywords into the content. The copywriting and chosen resources were selected based on the target audience’s prior knowledge. I also aimed to simplify technical jargon.

This brand needed an opt-in page for their lead magnet (a free video training).
The website writing hits on desires, transformations and pain points. The CTA is clear and addresses an urgency to watch the video. This opt-in page earned a 75% opt-in rate, although multiple versions of the copy were created for testing purposes.

How do you price your services as a website writer?
Most website projects are priced as a fixed price. That means you and I will have agreed upon a set amount, scope and deadline prior to getting started.
If there is a lot of variance between multiple webpage page types (e.g. desired length, content vs. copywriting), I may price based on individual pages. Otherwise, website rewrites with multiple pages can be bundled.
How long does it take to complete a project?
Project turnaround times are based on when we can schedule our mandatory kickoff call. From there, most single pages can be completed in about a week.
Multi-page website writing projects typically take 2-4 weeks. Expedited projects can be completed with a rush fee.
What are your typical rates as a website writer?
Since project scope can vary greatly between clients, pricing is determined after an initial discovery call with each potential client.
However, my rates are generally comparable to other expert website writers.
Can you work alongside my website team?
Yes! If you have an existing website marketing workflow, I can be easily inserted into that process.
Some clients prefer that I attend team calls, whereas others prefer to send me a content brief after the details have been hashed out internally.
Do you know enough about my industry?
Great question! Sometimes, clients are unsure how I can write for their industry or brand without being an “expert” in the industry myself.
Aside from thorough research with every project, I get on a kickoff call with every client to ensure I have a complete understanding of their brand and their audience. If further information is needed, I make myself available for additional calls, feedback and SME interviews if needed.
Can you also do SEO keyword research?
Yes! However, I cannot replace having a dedicated SEO specialist or SEO strategist.
When clients need help with SEO keyword selection, I offer SEO research to create a list of 5-10 keywords, all with relevant data insights. SEO keyword research is an add-on service.
